Uh, I use some product from Clinque, but I will soon run out and get some coconut oil! Where can I find it?

You can use any oil, really, to remove eye makeup. I use jojoba since it's supposed to be closest in composition to natural skin oil and not clog pores. Just squirt a small amount on a cotton ball and wipe.

I have used coconut oil as a moisturizer. It worked great except for one small problem - I am allergic to it. For about an hour after I apply it, my skin is red and itchy. It clears up (and my skin was definitely moisturized) but I still felt I should try something else.

Weird that I had that effect as I can eat coconut.

I love coconut oil. Die Frau, you can get it at health food stores like Whole Foods, but my favorite source is Mountain Rose Herbs (google them). (You have to buy it by the gallon, though! But I use it for everything, so that's not a problem for me.)

I use grapeseed oil as a makeup remover, and coconut oil as a moisturizer. Now I need to buy some organic cotton flannel, cut it up into squares, and use that so I stop wasting cotton balls!

Where else can you find Coconut Oil? I don't have a Whole Foods in my area...

Well I have a ton of it left over from my conditioner expriment gone bad so I will try it. Why don't these thoughts ever occur to me?

I used coconut oil for my hair conditioner the other day and despite the fact that I smell like a macaroon, it also left it pretty heavy and greasy. I got the oil from an indian grocery store (it comes in a blue bottle) and I am wondering whether it is a bit old cause it smells a bit stale. Anyway for all of those who use it for moisturizer and makeup remover...arent you bothered by the smell? The first time I used it I bought the expensive kind from whole foods and it worked great (and no smell). Now not so sure.

I use a natural lotion to remove my eye-makeup and it seems to work well, I just use a cotton ball and brush lightly towards my nose till its all off... Maybe a nice natural lotion would be better for people with allergies.

I use jojoba oil as both my moisturizer and eye makeup remover. Works great! I think my skin is similar to her Crunchiness (oily but gradually getting a bit drier as I get further from my teens).

I am just wondering of folks have problem with it being too greasy. I have used oils in the past for eye make-up remover and then follow up with my facial cleanser (I use Kiss my Face). I just found that often the oil left a residue and the next day I would often have issues with "raccoon eyes" b/c of my masacra. Now I just wash my face with the Kiss my Face cleanser and that is all I need.
